Shot Row Socks
Aaargh! I guess I got cocky. With a lot of encouragement, I figured out heel flaps and gussets. Short row heels are kicking my butt. Mine are hideous looking. Giant gaping holes when I pick up the twisted stitches. Obviously I'm just doing it wrong. I watched Amy's video on short rows 10 times while I sat with my knitting, but I'm just not getting it.

I thought I understood the concept, but evidently not. I wish I had a knitter nearby to show me what I'm doing wrong.

It's not that I don't like socks with heel flaps, but I hate it when something whips me like this!
