Need sizing help
I want to make this for my 12 (soon to be 13) year old daughter. I'm not sure what size to make for her. How can I figure it out? She's 5 feet tall and about 102 lbs. I would think a small or medium, but the only problem is that she is a bit large in the chest area (32D). I'm worried that if I make it too small it will fit right around her stomach but be stretched too much across the chest. On the other hand if I make it too large, it'll be baggy across the stomach area (and a corset top isn't supposed to be like that ). Help!

I'd go by the finished measurements they show. Then work with the gauge.

Measurements:
Finished bust: 34 (38, 42, 46, 50, 54) " / 87.2 (97.4, 107.7, 117.9, 128.2, 138.5) cm
Total Body Length: 22.25 (23.25, 24.5, 25.75, 27.25, 29.25) " / (59.6, 62.8, 66, 69.9, 75) cm

Thanks, Jan. I didn't even notice that. I had printed up the pattern and must have cut that part out.

short row with wrap
Hi! I'm a beginner knitter and was just looking through this website and came to the short row with wrap section. It says something about being good for the bust area and so reminded me that I saw your question while nosing around the other day. I don't know if that would help you in any way, but it's on this website under advanced techniques if you want to check it out.
