Why am I getting holes?
I'm trying this version to do my toe ups:
http://www.seedwiki.com/wiki/perfect_sock_pattern/

The turkish cast on awesome, the short rows awesome, it was when I had to Reverse Short Row Shaping that I got holes. Where did I go wrong? I frogged everything (knits quick) so I don't mind starting over.

Also I am doing the magic loop method of two at the same time (first timer), when I do the Reverse Short Row Shaping should I just focus on one sock at a time?

help.

It's because you weren't doing a short-row with wrap. Amy has a video of it on the advanced techniques page.

after posting I ended up frogging everything and added the wraps and it turned out okay, but I thought based on everything I read that I didn't have to wrap the stitches.

you don't if it is only one row, but more, you have to wrap.
