Liverpool Womens hospital has started kniting, and has asked other knitters to join them, in knitting breats to help teah mother how to breast feed and such.
They began when they realised that the synthetic breats available to help trach new mother where simply too expensive to have enough for everyone and that there wasnt enough variety in size and shape to suit all the mothers. So they began knitting.
The official webpage and pattern is available here: http://www.lcgb.org/index.htm
and it is a very worthwhile cause as well as a slightly different project to try.
