insert back to front between 1st & 2nd k 2nd, then k 1st

Very old pattern. The whole instruction is: "insert right needle, from back to front, between 1st and 2nd st on left needle, k the 2nd, the k the first st and drop both sts from left needle"

I'm a relatively new knitter and this one has me confused.
