Cable instruction question
I am knitting a pattern with a cable at the top of the neckline. It's from the new Vogue Knitting Magazine, #21. This is my first cable project and need help. It reads: "12-st LC - sl 6 sts to cn and hold to front, knit or seed st 6, knit or seed st 6 from cn". Does this simply mean to knit only the 6th stitch on the needle and the 6th stich from the cn, then knit the others? I hope someone can save me a trip to the knit shop! Thanks!

You are slipping 6 stitches to a cable needle and holding in front, and then knitting six, and then 6 from the cable needle.
One of many knitting guys.
