patt for a bow

does anyone have a patt for a bow that will be used as an added detail to a knitted band. I have a patt for one but it incorporates a button. any suggestions?

Ugh, I know of this good bow-tie pattern in the boko "The Cool Girl's Guide to Knitting" or something like that, I can't remember that exact wording. If anyone has that book, maybe they could post the pattern?
