what does it mean to end on the wrong side?????

Hi, i am knitting a top for the summer, and in the instruction it says to end on the wrong side, i know which side is the wrong side, but does ending on the WS mean you stopping at the last stitch on the wrong side (going to the right side next) or stopping at the last stitch on the right side (going to the wrong side next)?????
