Puget Sound Area Knitters
This tread was started to announce a specific get-together, but since that is now past we can use it to schedule others if we want.

---------------------------------------------------------------

jeanius80 and I are getting together this week to knit and exchange an Oddball Blanket, and thought it would be fun to have more KHers join us.

We will be meeting in Federal Way at 1pm on Thursday, May 17, at the 320th St. Starbucks. (2032 S 320th St) Not sure how long we will stay, but we do want to be home before rush hour.

Come join us!

~Jennifer

P.S. I know that many of you may not be able to make it due to the weekday time. If there is enough interest I would be happy to try and put together something for a weekend, possibly further north depending on where people are coming from.

Hi Jennifer! Thanks for starting this get-together! I could have made a 1 pm Thursday gathering at the 320th Starbucks! Unfortunately for me...I am leaving on a week's vacation on Sun...and besides having an Art Show to do on Sat...I am up-to-here with packing; getting the art show assembled...and getting out the door by 4 am Sunday! You should see my "TO DO" spreadsheet! Yes...I keep track on a spreadsheet! Adding to it/deleting from it...and finally...a print out of the final weeks TO DO's! You know how the final 3 days are dreadful! However, the thought of a FULL WEEK IN THE MOUNTAINS with DH, knitting, sun, wind, and air...makes it worth the effort to get organized and packed and GONE!

I would love to support a KH knit-in! Summer is touch-and-go...for everyone...but...PLEASE...keep me posted! I will attend if I can when my work and our vacations don't disallow! We take one week each month starting in May through Oct....and my art shows are weekends: F-S-S. Such is life, eh?

I saw the info on the "LYS Tour" around the area too. Not sure if I will do anything or not. Maybe just the Seattle ones near me - although since I am on a _very_ strick budget at the moment I probably shouldn't temp myself. :(

I'm looking forward to meeting you tomorrow! (BTW, if you have your drop spindle from Sandy bring it with and I can give you a quick lesson. I'm not that good, but I know the basics.)
