Changing Circulars After Joining?

I just joined my stitches for my booga bag and I really hate the needles I'm using. The cord is really thick and the wool is grabbing like crazy on it.

Is it possible to switch out circular needles after the join?

Yes, just start knitting the stitches onto the new needle for the next round.

Just pick the needles you want to use and knit onto them!

That's how I do it too. I used to switch all the stiches, then my mom asked me why I did it that way. Maybe because the smart way never occurred to me!
