I started out knitting this Diamond Fantasy Shawl in LL Helen's Lace. At first I thought the colour (Jeans) and the pattern worked well together, but after adding squares/diamonds I realized the colour was too busy for the pattern. Or the other way around...

I frogged... And started something completely different. I'm now working on Hidcote Garden Shawl in Malabrigo Lace (#36 Pearl). I think this is a hit!!! The shades of pink and grey and green are so subtle it isn't even near to competing with the pattern, and yet it gives the fabric an interesting look.

I'm enjoying the result of my knitting but with pesty high temperatures and sweaty hands, the wool gives me struggles... I wonder if this is a project I might have to work on during rainy days and nights...

i am making progress on my tri-aran-angle shawl - knit with caron simply soft in country blue - here are some not-so-great photos of it, which i promise to update when i'm through!

I haven't really been working on my shawl too much, since I've received the Oddball Blanket, and am supposed to the receive the Oddball Shawl soon. I hope I finish it for my deadline though!
