Is chat not working?

Hi guys,

Im not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but is the chat down/ being worked on/ not existing any more?

I went to the page and got:

"Voodoo chat -- Fatal error
We got the error
Cannot connect to the database. Access denied for user 'knittinghelp_1'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
at line 6 in the file /mysql/inc_connect.php
Find help at Voodoo chat homepage"

Well, thats slightly worrying lol. If someone could please let me know whats going on here, because I would really like to have some Live Knitting chat with the rest of you xD

Its not used very much but as far as I know its working.

I think I remember Sheldon saying that the chat WAS broken because it wasn't a good chat program, so they were going to bring a new and improved version online.

You might want to ask about the chat in the Bug thread, on the General Knitting board.

When we moved servers last week we didn't bother setting up the old chat since it's quite buggy and not often used. We do have a new chat software which I am working on rolling out and hope to have ready for release soon. I will be posting an announcement once it's live.
