Even though I already responded in this thread, I wanted to add an ammendment... since I joined KH I've been using mutations of my screen name for everything, and since so many people INSIST that my name *really* is Hildie (

), I've just taken to using that instead of my real name. Since I've recently started dating, I've introduced myself as Hildie, and I kind of like it!
Now that I'm divorced, once I get all my crap together to change myname back, I'm going to add Hildegard to my legal name

Mine is my nickname given to me by my hubby, now everyone uses it. I have a medical condition that makes me grow extra bones, I keep having the dam things removed, and Mike said I'm going start calling you Nobones, because you keep having bones removed and can't have any left. It stuck from that day, (9 years now) and even my orthopedic consultant calls me Nobones!

awww i love that!

I have never heard anybody call me Brendajos to my face (and would actually like to hear how people pronounce it now that I think about it...lol) but I imagine most of my knitting and teddy bear friends would if we were hanging out!

dakatzmeow is a mutation of the phrase, 'the cat's meow'. it has kind of a chicago bears twist on it ala saturday night live. you know, da bears? dakatzmeow.

i picked out 'the cat's meow' at a time in my life when i needed to remind myself that i AM the cat's meow and not some lower image i had of myself (or one my ex had of me :yadda

i use this handle everywhere i go. i even tried to get it for my license plate, but for some unknown reason, it got rejected. :(

I love this thread - I've always been so curious about some of these screen names! I... uh ... have 3 kids .... so there is my creative stab at my identity at the moment. Lame, lame lame!

Mine's redheadrachel because I'm a redhead named Rachel! lol But for aim and most other things, I use RockmaninovRachs. Because my favorite composer is Rachmaninov and he rocks, but I switched the rach and the rock because they sound the same... it's fun because usually only musicians get it! :P

My first name is Amy and my middle name starts with B. When I was growing up my parents would call me "Amy B" as a nickname. When they suprised me with a car when I was 16 (don't worry it was 10 years old!) it had a personalized plate that said "IBAMYB".... so that's my usual screenname for stuff.
