Hello wise ones--
I've been looking online for a sweater or vest that has a dinosaur jacquard pattern in it for my beloved grandson who is mad about dinosaurs. MANY years ago I recall a neighbor knitting a vest with a dino on the front for her son, but haven't been able to come up with a similar pattern (or any pattern) despite quite a bit of online searching. I've only come up with one dino jacquard pattern and will make it work if I must, but am hoping that someone is aware of a pattern I missed.
Re: Dinosaur Sweater Patterns
Thanks Tobinknit--closest yet to what I've been searching for....I downloaded craftfinder.com pattern to to satisfy my curiosity. Turns out this pattern was not exactly what I was hoping for (neither in quality nor completeness), but it was a starting point and my curiosity was satisfied. Thanks so much for your help...I appreciate your efforts of my behalf. Keep me posted if you should come across others patterns. Thanks again.
Sorry they weren't what you were looking for. There is a reference to a Dinosaurs One Knitted Vest Pattern by Barbara Rondeau on this Braille site but no pictures. Scroll down alphabetically to the title above.
Persistence pays off. Here is a picture of the Barbara Rondeau dinosaur vest pattern. It is a Leisure Arts publication Leaflet 601. If this is the one you saw before, you could watch out for it on eBay.

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant...this was exactly the vest I remember my neighbor knitting for her son so many years ago. I'm excited to have the name and number of the leaflet because now I have something specific to search for at my various used book venues. Thank you so much.
