Anti-coloring books

Those are really cool! It is kinda funny; I'm an adult now, and I still color in coloring books to help me relax.

I usually try to avoid buying myself the activity books, because I just want to color the pictures

My senior year in college my suite-mates and I bought some cheap $1 coloring books (had to get the big 64 color box of Crayolas though!) and colored them as study breaks while studying for term-end exams. It was a GREAT way to destress. We hung our finished colored pictures outside our dorm door and soon we had lots of people wanting to come by and color! (And we were all 18-22yr olds!)

Those are neat... my 6 yr old son loves to draw and write, how he spends most of his time...I'm having trouble coming up with Christmas ideas for him because his toys are hardly ever touched...I think I'll add these to the list of all the art supplies I've been considering...

First of all, anything that uses crayons (preferrably Crayola

) is great.
I think the AntiColoring books are cool, but I certainly agree that regular coloring books have their place! I love to color and occupied myself for hours as a child with it. All those colors and then you can mix them and make new colors.
For the drawing impaired, color books are wonderful.

It's hard to find plain coloring books these days. They all want to throw in the educational stuff!

I bought some of those for the boys. Jacob loved them, Ryan, not so much. I think he saw them as too much work.

They get used occasionally, but when he breaks out the Crayolas and coloring books, I join him. It is relaxing!

Very cool - I'll have to remember these when mine get a bit older.

I actually hide the good boxes of crayons for when I color with the kids. I have my very own big person coloring book. And there is just something about a brand new box of crayons .....

I love opening a new box of crayons. There is so much potential in that little (or big

) box. And it reminds me of when I was a kid and I would get a new box, it was such a great feeling!

These books are awesome! I remember when I was little, my sister got strep throat, and was really sick. Well, my grandma got her one of those books-and I remember being soooo jealous that my sister got one and I didn't. Just cause my sister was sick, and got to lay on the couch all day!
(Of course, now that I'm grown, I know what strep throat is like, and wouldn't wish that on anyone!

)
