new swing style sweater/jacket?
Hi I am looking for a short "swing style" cardigan that closes at the neck. FreePeople has a gorgeous one at Macy's but I can't find a picture. It's for a junior size, young 21 year old. Any ideas or new books you've seen with something like this?
Thanks.

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for or not, but on the cover of the Fall Interweave Knit Magazine there is a swing style coat... you might be able to use it as a guide to get what you want....

www.zephyrstyle.com just posted a new pattern called Juliet that sounds like it could work for you. The pattern can be made cropped or full length.

Lion Brand has a couple. There is a crochet version and a knit version. You wouldn't have to use the yarn they suggest if you didn't like it. You might have to subscribe to see it. But it's free. http://cache.lionbrand.com/cgi-bin/p...=swing&x=1&y=9

I've come across a few nice ones on the net lately, but most have a button band.

I can't find the issue with this pattern, so
will link to the knitalong:

This one has a single button closure at the neck:

Good luck finding something you like.
