thanks for your kind words! I've not been around for most of the year and have just forgotten that everyone doesn't just "know" about me, LOL! I'm disabled, have been since I was in my 20's...very, very long story short...wreck; broke hip & pelvis; hip replacement, then others that went bad, hip dislocations (ongoing partially); various other hip/leg surgeries, etc that have left me living in a life of pain. Which is okay, part of this is what led to my Christianity and, besides that, i have a great pain doc and the very very very best husband in the world! And family, friends, goodness, I'm so blessed that i couldn't ask for much more, I hurt, yes, but I'm not dying or anything, thank God, it could be so very much worse. As I said, I'm so happy and blessed...my goodness, i don't know if I could live with myself if i were pain free!
And, i get the greatest joy sharing my patterns with fellow knitters for free on my blog and a few sites. I was published once by KnitPicks and that was plenty for me...it's much more fun to offer my designs for free! Well, I take that back, I guess the patterns in the Calendar are considered published, but they are the same ones that we've seen!
my goodness, I'm a chatty girl tonight...or morning, all in how you look at it!
Thanks again,

Wow such a trial.

I hope God continues to bless you in life and pray that He might sprinkle a bit of healing your way.

I will keep you in my prayers.

You're right, ArtLady, the Taos yarn works very well with the modified edges. It's absolutely beautiful! Thanks for the pics. Can't wait to see the FO.

Hi'ya Slim! I want to let you know how much I admire your knitting and your Touch of Whimsey scarf! Truly inspirational knitting. I think you probably blocked it, because it has such a polished look! The color choice was spot-on IMHO.

I also want to let you know that I didn't mean to hijack your thread in any way, or take any kudos away from your accomplishment, by posting photos of my 'problem child' scarf! I do apologize if any offense was taken. I will watch myself more closely in the future.

Thanks for sharing your work with us here at KH!

Don't be silly!! The great thing about this forum, to me anyway, is the way we all share with each other and get to know each other. I love your scarf, and your posting it led to still more interesting discussion and sharing. And that's the whole point. Please don't give it another thought!
