I've been shopping
Got me some Malabrigo My LYS is now carrying this yarn.Patons Classic wool was on sale.Been wanting to try the Denim.I also got a thing to block sweaters on.It is suppose to be for ironing sewing stuff on it. So I can steam right on it if I want. It is 6 ft long and is padded and has ends to fit over a table. It's like a giant ironing board. It was $39.00 but got 40% off so what a deal that was at Joanns.
My LYS shop has open knitting anytime its open and free knitting classes on Tuesady nights. They have tables set up so anytime anyone wants to knit they can.Brother and sister own it .Tony looks like a hippy and knits like crazy. His sister (can't remember her name now) Is really good at helping people learn to knit.Just wish they had more colors to choose from.It was a fun afternoon yesterday.

How cool is that? Since I remember where your location use to be are you in the Northern part of the state near me? Trying to see how close your lys is to me. I just have this need to see all of them near me. My closest one is Yarn Harbor and it is within a 1/4 of a mile.

I'm actually west of you in Eveleth and LYS is in Hibbing and that is 30 minutes north of me.

I think I saw Hibbing on a highway sign around here. Now to figure out which one! I promise this time I will only look at the yarn! I hear there is one kind of north of me in Grand something too. If I ever quit knitting and finish getting the house settled this will be some great road trips.

My LYS gets me into trouble somethimes when I spend to much. Thats great you get free classes. My LYS charges unless you buy all the yarn there.

That's not Malabrigo. It's called Marble it's a new acrylic yarn that is super soft,But it splits easily and don't think I would use it again.

Very nice

I like the Patons Astra you have there. I've been lucky using it for my children many times. That... and I used to live almost next door to the factory where it is made.

The current sweater I am knitting for my daughter cost me 22 cents...

Anyhow... sorry I digress!
