Gorgeous! You are SUCH a great friend!
DH had part of his kidney removed......10 years ago. He's still around! Praise God! Praying for the best for her!

I think that I could survive ANYTHING if I knew I had a friend who cared for me enough to make me THAT !

Blessings to both of you !

Thank you everyone for the kudos! Actually, we're not friends, we just work together and i can't really come up to her and ask her how she feels, we're not close. So i decided to make the shawl to show i care .

I picked a colour that she would like for herself and it was actually a rather quick knit. It took me about 3.5 weeks, but that was the only thing i knit at the time.

That's beautiful! She'll treasure it...as I'm sure she does your friendship!
Must edit here because I just read the 2nd page of posts in which you say you aren't really friends... what an amazing thing to do for an "acquaintance" then! You have a great heart!
