Actually Lisa, just knowing someone out there is in the same boat as me, and has only heard from their swapper once, makes feel better.

Thanks Sharly - now I know I'm not being paranoid or anything!

I finished my shrug! Here is the pattern my swapper wrote for me made with the yarn she gave me.

This is my first time doing cables and I simply couldn't put them down! The pattern she wrote actually called for the rectangle to be 5 ft long which would make much longer sleeves than this has, but I ran out of yarn sooner than I expected I would. I love it anyway and I'm thinking I may have to make another one for my very Irish Grammy.

That looks great!!! You are a very fast knitter. I haven't even finished the swatch for my socks yet.

Thanks! I don't think I'm really that fast, I was just a little obsessive about this project because Sanibelle was so sweet and cables are so cool! Come on, it was a pattern written just for me... could you have put that down?

Heard from my swapper that my package is in the mail!
It's too soon to expect it today...right?? Hehe...now
I only need to survive until next week and I can do
the happy dance along with all the others!
I know it's coming from the east coast so hopefully it
will be here in the first part of next week rather than
the last....I CAN'T WAIT!!! haha...ok, so maybe I need
to cut out the sugar before reading my messages
