Woo Hoo I should be able to go pick it up today! (The campus post office is closed on Saturdays so my mail inevitably takes an extra day)

I've got it!
It was in my mail box today! The blanket looks fantastic and I'm am so lucky to be getting the chance to work on it.

I opened the box up and was hugged by the smell of chocolate brownies. (I couldn't make it all the way through work without having one and sharing some with the other ladies at work). Knitnut also spoiled me with a San Antonio mug and a candy corn illusion cloth. What a great way to start the week!

I'm off to read the journal and gettaknittin!

Glad you got it!!!!!!!!! I was a little worried about the mug. I guess the blanket protected it.

The illusion cloth really is cool! I've never seen or made any illusion stuff before and it looks pretty fun. She gave me the pattern for this one so I'm going to have to try it out.

Knitknut, you were so sweet to include brownies!! They look YUMMY! (of course, I can't eat any right now, because I'm on a low carb diet, but it's fun imagining ADAllen eating them.) I've become an eating voyeur!

Well, the blanket didn't meet anyone as cool as the Yarn Harlot here, but it sure did improve my fall break.

This isn't the whole blanket; it is a bit too big for me to photograph indoors and all of central Arkansas is muddy right now.

Here are KnitKnut's fantastic hearts.

And here is the bit I added. I used Knit Picks Swish Superwash in Sunshine, and the pattern is Vertical Weave from a stitch book Jam O'Knit gave me.
