I just made a new blog, just for our "Pretty Purples" Oddball Shawl, which shows the shawl all through it's creation.
Enjoy!

What a great idea for a blog, Sandy! It looks great! And I'd looove to do the pink shawl! I have lots of bits and pieces that would work. I think I'm a little addicted to these shawls ... they make me feel like I...um...finish something

Barbie is looking great!

I got the Magic shawl today! I don't have my camera with me at work, so I'll have to take a picture tonight and post it tomorrow.

Kelly, thanks for the lotion, tea and yarn! The tea smells fabulous, and made the shawl smell really yummy.

No need to make an exception, I'll just knit her something else. Thanks for the instructions.

The sunshine shawl arrived today, along with a ball of Paint Box yarn from rennfamily. It is beautiful, and I can't wait to decide on its use.
Thanks!!

Thanks Claire. It wouldn't really be an exception - more like a "variation". Is she the kind of person that would want to take care of a shawl made with hand-wash only yarn? If so, then she would be a good candidate for one of our shawls.

By the way, thanks for stepping up on the Barbie Shawl.

I got a package yesterday from rennfamily, with her leftover yarn from the "Worsted Weight" shawl. I'm using our leftover yarns to add fringe to the shawl, before we give it to the recipient!

She also included a skein of Paint Box 100% wool (pretty!), and a steamy romance novel!
