Nice start! What yarn did you use?

By the way, thanks for stepping up on the Barbie Shawl.
No problem. Like I said before I want to pass on the love that I've received.

I think that she would appreciate the shawl, but I haven't seen her or her parents in a while so I don't know how she's doing.

Thanks! It is Caron Simply Soft. I'm not sure of the color name, but it is a shocking PINK! Thought it would make a good color for the point.

Shandeh, are we using DK or worsted weight yarn?

We are using DK yarn. The Simply Soft that Knitknut used is close enough to DK to qualify.

The amazing thing about our shawls is that when the fringe is added, everything looks perfect. They look kinda wonky during formation though.

Here's the magic shawl as I received it. I haven't figured out yet what yarn I'm going to add to it.

OMG! Our shawl grew HAIR!

Whoever gets this shawl is gonna have to have a FUN personality.

I think a nice dark yarn would work well.

I just got Barbie in the mail today. I'll be working on it tomorrow when I take my mom to the dr.
