help with sock heel

I am trying to figure out this sock heel on a pattern called alberta clipper boot socks...I found in freepatterns web site.

I have made a few pairs of socks before so I know the basics....but am not an expert.
I am working the med size with dpns 16,17,17.
the pattern states..knit across next 10(14)(13) sts, break MC, attach CC and turn. P10(14)(13), then with same ndl, p1,M1,p11(p11)(p2tog,p13) from next ndl. (23,25,27 heel sts on ndl)
Divide rem 23(25)(27)sts on 2 ndls and leave for later
When I knit 14sts break MC attach CC and turn. P14......I am left with 2 sts on 1 ndl. I get confused at this part. PLEase can someone translate to english? thanks
