Question re: increasing

I should probably know this by now, but when a pattern says to "increase 1 st in each of the next 2 sts" what's the best way to do that? I'm thinking to knit into the front and back of each stitch?

There are many ways to increase, but from what you've written that is what it sounds like they want you to do.

I would Knit into the front and back of each stitch too.

Yep. When a pattern is written to actually increase in a stitch, the only way you could do that is kfb.

I have a similar situation. The pattern says to "k2 in each stitch" for the row. When looking at the help videos, which of the increases should I look at?
Nevermind, I found it. The Bar Increase.
