Here is my all-time favorite easy scarf. I just finished my third and I'm about a third of the way through another (double-stranded Cascade 220).

I started Silver's scarf, but I tried my first cable, and it was twisted, and was definitely not right. I need to get a cable needle for one, so when I get one, I am going to try it again. I tried to just use a circular needle. But, that really wasn't the problem, I did something wrong because it was twisted!! You guys say it is so easy, I did not think it was!! LOL

You don't need a cable needle to do cables, just use a dpn, a pencil, whatever's short and straight. When you go to work the sts on the holder, make sure it hasnt twisted around; they should look straight, just like the other ones on your other needle.

I will give it another shot. I got some red Paxton Yarn, and I think it is gorgeous. I do have a DPN, and of course, a pencil!!
