Sweater Sizing
I am trying to start knitting a sweater. The pattern gives a finished chest measurement (which should be fitted, but not snug) of 32.5 inches for a size small and 36.5 inches for a medium. My chest is right in between at 34.5 inches. Should I go for the small with a bigger gauge (I tried a size 8 instead of 7 as indicated in the pattern, which gave me 4.5 inches instead of 4 for 16 stitches, 32 rows in garter)? Or should I go for the medium at a smaller gauge (this I didn't try yet)?
Any help on this would be great!

Send a message via Yahoo to suzeeq
I'd use the smaller size and larger needles.
