What don't you like about the way you decreased? The picture looks good, both the ribbing and the shape.

Thanks. The decreases were even all the way around and all that, but they caused an odd look to the ribbing near the top. It doesn't show now because it's hidden by the drawn in seam, but on something that isn't drawn in it would look kinda funny.

I think it looks great! Tim (DH) has been asking me to make him a cap to wear on watch (he's in the Navy)... I may try something like this
