DK yarn patterns?
I seem to have aquired a plethora of DK yarn, some on purpose and some because I bought yarn on ebay thinking it was worsted and it ended up DK.

Can anyone recommend a book or pattern site (free or otherwise) that will give me some ideas what to do with all this DK yarn?

I GOOGLEd "DK yarn patterns" but didn't come up with much.

Thanks

I am glad you asked. I have my eye on a tweed dk and I am looking for a cardigan or pullover pattern for it. I did find one Cabin Fever's summer braids. Also Oat Couture has the seville jacket written in three different weights including dk.

If you got to www.elann.com and search the patterns by weight they have several patterns in dk.

It "appears" that DK and sport weight genrally have the same gauge, is that correct???

Sport weight is a little bit thinner, DK is between sport and worsted. DK is usually knit on size 6 needles, and on dailyknitter.com's pattern section the needle size is listed for the different patterns. That may help.
