That is one of my favorite Christmas movies (now one of my daughter's favorites too). The hat looks great. Do you have a picture of the whole costume?

here's the photo!
and finally, here's the photo of our outfits! i was supposed to have blue gloves, but i was trying to sew them out of the same fabric that i made the shoe coverings out of, and failed miserably, and didn't see any i felt were worth spending money on. so i went without. and i was supposed to have a prosthetic nose, and i COMPLETELY forgot it sitting at home on the counter, not realizing till we were at the party! oh well. i knit the scarf and the ice hair-hat, and i made the outer hat out of cardboard, just a little too small to sit on my head well, so it's basically balancing on the lump my hair made in the first hat. definitely a learning curve in these art projects!
