blanket with diamond pattern

I would like to crochet a blanket with a diamond-type pattern similar to this one: http://arscraftica.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3 but using a 2.75mm hook. Does anyone have suggestions for similar patterns?

Could you use the same pattern and make adjustments for length and width? If you really like this pattern, that's what I recommend you do.

If you take the pattern and use a 'baby' yarn and the larger hook it should come out somewhat larger, though she adapted it from a pattern which probably used heavier yarn and a bigger hook.
