Yes, he's for real. He belongs to a group called The Crochet Crowd. He does tutorials for crochet on Youtube. He's an excellent teacher. He's Mikeysmail on Youtube and his Kurtsy Crochet Hook tutorials are excellent. I like his KAL tutorials for things like baby blankets and booties.
