Pattern help, please
Im working on the Ruffled Cloche out of "60 Quick Baby Knits" (page 32). I've made it to Row 10 on te Hat Ruffle.

Row (dec) 10 Purl, dec 9 sts evenly spaced across - 78 sts

I have 87 stitches on the needle and I'm not sure how to "evenly" space the decreases and how to decrease? Do I p2tog 9 times along the way?

Thanks for help

You're starting with 87 sts and need to dec 9, so you'd dec every 9.6 sts across the row. It would be something like alternating p8 p2tog, p7 p2tog, p8 p2tog and so on. That way the decs are more or less evenly spaced.
