FO: Gingerbread Castle
I've wanted to incorporate this into something since I bought the book (1970/71).

It's from Barbara Walker's A Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns.
The yarn is Naturally Caron SPA, the color is called Green Sheen.
The size 12 month pullover pattern is my own design.
I'm only in the mental stages of making a hat to go with it.

A castle for a baby whose daddy and grandpa build houses.

The sweater is adorable! The castle pattern is perfect on the pullover. I love the way you added the diagonal design at the top of the ribbing on the sleeves and back -- just ties everything together.

I wish my grandchildren would wear pullovers.

Thanks so much, Betty.
I think that might work very well on the back of a cardi.

Awww shucks, thanks Dollyce.
My technique is not as good as it once was, but blocking sure helps to "absorb" some of the tension irregularities.

Lana, that is the most darling baby sweater I have ever seen!

It is absolutely beautiful and you did an amazing job on it. I have loved that castle pattern since I first saw it in the Walker book 2 or 3 years ago; I never would have thought to put it on a baby sweater -- it's perfect.
