I'm going to have a go at this pattern ...
It uses both a yf and yon. When I looked at the glossary here on knittinghelp, they both appear to be the same thing - a yo
These are the relevant lines from the pattern
1st row (RS) K1, yf, * k5, slip the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th sts over the first st, yf; rep from * to last st, k1.
4th, 5th and 6th rows K1, * p1, yon, k2tog; rep from * to last st, k1. 7th row K and inc 1(dec 1:dec 3) sts evenly across row. 81(91:101) sts.
IF they are the same, why the use of different terminology? Or does one go forward and the other forward and around
