Ridges
Every two rows, I seem to have a ridge. I presume this means I must be knitting or purling more loosely.
Any ideas on how to correct. I tried changing position of my needles but this made it worse.

If you're doing stockinette, it's called rowing out. Determine if you're knitting or purling more loosely and use a smaller needle for the sts that are looser. Or change how you hold the yarn, thread it through your fingers a different way and see if that helps. Here's an article that may help.

Thanks so much for the info. I think I already knew the answer but was dreading the solution. Have been knitting for 40 plus years. Hand injury causing some of these problems. I loved to knit while watching TV or traveling but will commit myself to making the change to smooth knitting.
