Zip Up The Back Hoodie
So a couple of months ago I made a sweater using this pattern as written (which is for a newborn sized sweater) using KnitPicks Shine Sport in "River" with cream stripes.

I've made this sweater again using the same pattern and yarn (only this time I used cream as the main color and used the "River" colorway for the stripes). The only change I made was that I went up two needle sizes ... I used a US 6 for the main body and a US 4 for the ribbing. My goal was to create a slightly larger size, and overall I think it worked out pretty well. This sweater is more of a 6 month size I would say.

It's adorable!! So much easier than a regular sweater for a little one! Great job!

Yes ... It's a fairly simple pattern, but I really like having the zipper go up the back!

I like it alot! I've been scouring the web for a sweater for a baby boy, but haven't found one I really like - this may just do the trick (except the zipper part scares me lol!)

haha yeah I was nervous about the zipper on the first one I made as well ... I ended up having my sister sew it in for me since her sewing skills are much better than mine! It really is a great pattern though .... maybe I'll attempt to do the zipper myself this time around, it's always good to learn something new right?
