Bette Marchese...known as Knittindiva on Ravelry has taken on the task of raising funds for the Susan G. Komen Foundation's 3 Day Walk for the Cure in Washington, DC on October 8-10....a 60 mile journey.

Any donations for this effort aide in breast cancer research. All proceeds from the Ravelry sales of Covington Shawl from September 16 through October 7 will be donated to her efforts and in support of this most worthy cause.
