K2tog

Hi I'm starting a hat on circular needles and I've never done a K2tog stitch. Is there a place on Knitting Help that shows how to do it or can someone explain how to do it. Thanks.

K2TOG means to knit the next two stitches together as if they were one stitch ... so when you do this you are decreasing by one stitch. There is a video here on KH that demonstrates how to do it, which is really helpful. Click here to check it out!

If you do not know an abrev. or if you do not know where to look for instruction... have you checked the Glossary Tab up top?

that gives you links to more info on how to do that step. And all you need as a starting point is your "k2tog". That gives you the full text of what that means and the links to both videos in this case.
