baby cabled afghan
well it only took me until my son was 3 months old to complete his afghan ! In my defense I started it and put it down to do a cross-stitch sampler for his room.

Beautiful! And don't worry ... he'll be a baby for a while yet!
An afghan like that is something that he will love for a long long time ... so I wouldn't worry about when it was completed.

A beautiful baby blanket pattern, and your work is beautiful, too. Where were all these great patterns when I was looking for my most recent blanket?

The blanket is beautiful and skillfully done.

Any chance you can sneak in a picture of the sampler somewhere here? Maybe next to something knitted.

What a beautiful blanket! Where did you find the pattern? I'd love to make one of those, and I have a new grandson (born 9 weeks early) who will need a blanket when he goes home in December.
