FO: Scallop Scarf
When I saw this yarn/pattern on the Bernat site, it instantly made me think of my mama and all of her jewelry. Even though she lives in FLORIDA, she has been asking me for a scarf for a while. I decided to knit her one of this for Christmas. I usually don't see her on Christmas because she lives so far away, so I decided to give it to her while she was visiting last week.

I thought 12 scallop shell motifs would be way too long, so I made it with only 10.

I've never seen that pattern before, it is a cool one. Your mother looks very happy with her scarf.

I love it too!
When I saw that scarf in the ad in a knitting magazine I LOVED it. I immediately went online and bought the yarn. Yours came out beautiful. I haven't knit it yet but it's waiting.

Good luck! It's a wonderfully quick knit. The only trouble I had was sewing the peices together-- the yarn pulls apart easily.
