Looking for a Hooded Scarf Pattern for a Child Age 4-7

I'm looking for a pattern for a hooded scarf for a child age 4-7. I have a little granddaughter wants a new hat but one that "doesn't mess my hair". My little diva!!

I've looked around on the web but the ones I've found are either for adults (and thus the hood is too large) or for littler children. If you know of such a pattern, I'd appreciate it if you would post a link to it or send it to me. Thanks!

The problem I found is the same as you. Here's a few, but you might be better off just seeing how it's made and then adjust the stitches for a child's hat/scarf.

I will add this disclaimer...I don't recommend scarves for small children who might be on climbing toys or swings..anything where it could be come a hazard. If the child is not the type then it's probably not a problem.
