FO - In and Out Socks
I had the pleasure of test-knitting one of the patterns from Cookie A.'s new book, Knit. Pray. Love. The book is officially available for pre-orders, and it comes out on November 20th. Hence, test knitters were given the green light to talk about the socks we knit!

I knit In and Out, a fabulous pattern!

I used Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock, and the color is Periwinkle. I knit this pair on size 0 needles, and it took me slightly over two weeks to finish.

If you have never test knit before, I highly encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity, should it present itself. It was a wonderful experience to interact with other knitters to work out kinks in the pattern and tweak the language.

Cookie A. was a delight to knit for. She responded quickly to questions and was just the most down-to-earth lady ever. She's one of the knitting experts I'd love to meet, should I ever have the money to attend knitting camp.

I hope you don't mind if I post a few more pictures. It's not that I'm in love with myself, but I am in love with these socks!!! They are a PERFECT fit for my humongous size 8 feet!

I like those socks! I am knitting a Christmas stocking and can't figure out the heel directions and I've never knit socks/stockings before. Is there a video or any simple directions anywhere that you know of? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The socks are gorgeous! You are so talented. I've got to get up enough nerve to try knitting socks.

I learned to knit socks using Silver's tutorial. She has step-by-step instructions.
I am sure that YouTube has tons of videos, though.
