toe up sock pattern for DK wool

Has anyone got a link to a toe up sock pattern for an absolute beginner?

I think Silver's tutorials are great but her DK socks are from the top down.

Also, I've got some Sirdar Baby Bamboo DK yarn which is not very stretchy will this be OK to use or should I go for something else.
