Increasing question
I'm having brain flatus here...

Pattern states:

Inc one st at each end of next and every following 4th row until there are X stitches...

assuming I'm starting with row 1 and using garter stitch for easy example, is that:

1: inc 1, k to end, inc 1.
2-3: K
4: inc 1, k to end, inc 1
5-6: k
7: inc 1, k to end, inc 1

or is it 4th plus the 1st row, like

1: inc 1, k to end, inc 1
2-4 k
5: inc 1, k to end, inc 1
6-8: k
9: inc 1, k to end, inc 1

Thanks so much!

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. - Marianne Williamson
