Cotton, acrylic won't absorb water.

I only use cotton and no fabric softener when washing so they absorb well. Someone made me an acrylic one once and it's not a good dishcloth.

The thread title amuses me...where do I get a pattern for a plate sweater?

Anyway, teasing aside...like the others said, cotton or nada.
