I never had a problem until recently I bought 2mm bamboo dpns.
I thought it was just too late at night and I was having a bad cold. But I could not get over the feeling that something about that new cast on (Italian tubular) was just wrong.
Well, one of the 5 needles was really flexible, the other 4 were fine. No wonder I thought of a spook.
If you are getting splinters: Do not use them anymore. You will hurt yourself, your knitting and your speed.
If they are bend, only, it depends on how well you can work with them (I am not happy with that)
