Baby Hat & Booties with I-cord Drawstring
I made these two in a couple of days, the hat took 3 hours! These are my first baby things to make, I see now why they are so popular, instant gratification knitting!

Hat is from Tabitha's Heart: www.tabithasheart.com (the Arwen Hat in XS size), I recently made it for adult as well.

Booties are free pattern called Ruth's Perfect Baby Booties.

I-cord is called Just a Leaf. It seems to be only on Ravelry, and it's SUPER easy & quick!

Yarn is discontinued soy/acrylic from Bernat Soy Natural Blends in colorways: Oatmeal (off-white) and celery (green). Nice and soft, and washable!

Follow my Ravelry link below to find these in my projects for easy click-thru to pattern pages.

Thanks, I've been looking for some knit baby booties that I liked and were free.

I made one the way the pattern says to (slipping first stitch on each row which lays on top of the bootie) and another NOT. I liked the pattern's version better. But you can't really see much of a difference due to those large and adorable leaves on top

Now those are just too darn cute! Really love the look of the booties with the leaves, so different.

Oh, yes, baby things! My favorite. These turned out very nicely. Now you're probably hoping you can find some more babies to knit for. The booties look like a nice style and the "leaves" are cute.
