i would like help knitting a V neck mens sweater... any tips?

hello everyone, im new to this forum, ive just mastered the scarf and the socks knitting!! now looking to up my game and do a sweaters for the coming winter... i love these chunky knit jthings out at the mo

but i reckon that might be too hard for me at the mo, i dont think im neat enough to do a chunky knit just yet
instead i have set my sights on something more like the fourth on this list here http://www.twenga.com/price-v-neck-mens.html
does anyone have a pattern i could follow? or better yet step by step idiot instructions?! i can confidently say that this is gonna be a real stretch for me but im ready to challenge myself and hey i can always post my issues and my woes on here right?!

The sweater you pictured on your post isn't that chunky (in fact it is machine knit and probably not chunky yarn at all). If you find a crew neck sweater like that one in a sport weight (very not bulky) or even a worsted you shouldn't have any trouble. Very basic, easy sort of thing really. Probably easier than the vee neck for that matter.

well i wont pretend that il not upse tthat this jumper isnt hand knitted!! does explain why i would never be able to produce something so neat though i guess!
but i am happier that it is easier to make than the vneck! thanks alot merigold
