zig zag beanie pattern

hello, So I want to knit a beanie for my boyfriend, but he is picky about the pattern. He would like a beanie with zig zags and at least two or more colors. I can not find a pattern for this anywhere and I have tried to combine two patterns for this but it is just not working out. I would like to have this done for him by mid December. Please help!
